Salt Lake City makes it easy for families to explore Utah's famous powder. Excellent area - public transport takes you to the ski resort in no time and it is only a short drive from the city centre.
Although there are several great viewpoints in the city, some locals prefer the best accessible views and enjoy the view from their houses on the east side of the city. Davis County, especially the East Bank, is one of the more physically attractive places to live in Utah. The living room offers access to all the streets in the area, as well as a variety of restaurants, bars and shops.
If you want to visit a state park, take a trip to Antelope Island or if you want to drive 20 minutes outside downtown Salt Lake, head to Great Basin National Park.
